A great opportunity for an Interior Designer to join our small multi-disciplinary, award winning architecture and interior design practice in Surry Hills. We are looking for either an Interior Designer with experience or Interior Design graduate to join our friendly team.

 

You will be  participating in a wide spectrum of roles with ongoing training. The role offers a great career path and development of high level professional skills.  

 

We need a person who is client focused and is who willing to work closely in a team environment with architects. Enthusiasm, self direction (with support) and good communication skills are essential. Good design and technical skills are also important. Most of our projects are fully project managed and you will have the opportunity to have a leading role in managing some projects.  

 

The practice started in 2000 and is currently a team of four. We are growing and our vision is to become a medium sized international design practice over the next ten years.

 

Two kinds of candidates are welcome:

1. An Interior Designer with experience: They must be adaptable and willing to embrace our culture and unique way of practicing.  

2. Recent Interior Design graduate: A high achieving graduate who is keen to take on responsibility and learn new skills and responsibilities.

8. In time you will be project managing projects from beginning to end.

9. We are forward-looking and have an established social media and web presence.

10. The role is mainly working on single house renovations and new houses but we also do Commercial Interior Design and are expanding more into this area. We have recently completed restaurant and medical clinic fit-outs and we can work on other interior projects up to approximately $3m value. We also do boutique office fit-outs when a firm wants something extraordinary.
