project: heritage listed terrace conversion in Surry Hills
This large terrace house was heritage listed and the changes proposed had to be beneficial from the owner's point of view of course, but they also had to be acceptable to Council.

We were able to arrive at a contemporary design which brought the house into the 21st century while respecting the 19th century heritage. The renovation gives the house lots more private indoor and outdoor space and makes better use of the garden.
The design features a roof terrace, alteration of the kitchen, and a beautiful attic room.
